The only link there is to the RemoveSymantecMacFiles tool, which is designed to be run as the logged-in user, rather than deployed using a management tool and run as root. That tool is referenced at, however the link to the tool itself has been removed. Previously, the SymantecRemovalTool script was available for this purpose. I need to be able to automate uninstallation of SEP on macOS through Jamf. When can we expect to have a functioning tool available? ![]() This is not acceptable - we need a method of removing SEP (for troubleshooting or remediating the many issues we are encountering) which we can automate to run at scale. The information flow has become a two-way channel.
